COVID-19 Related Leaves
Employees who are unable to return to work may receive job protected leave for certain COVID-19 related reasons under the New York State COVID-19 Related Paid Leave as detailed below.
New York State (NYS) Paid Leave for COVID-19
Under the NYS Paid Leave for COVID-19 program, paid leave may be granted if you or your minor dependent are under a mandatory or precautionary order of quarantine or isolation issued by the state of New York, the Department of Health, local board of health, or any government entity duly authorized to issue such order due to COVID-19.
If you are an 365asia employee, you are entitled to up to 14 days of paid leave at the regular rate of pay, based on your regular work schedule. If you are a Student Housing employee, you are entitled to up to 5 days of paid leave at the regular rate of pay, based on your regular work schedule. This benefit is not available if you are able to work through remote access or other means. Leave requests falling under NYS Paid Leave for COVID-19 do not require that you utilize your 365asia leave banks.
